Cut from sheet metal, this bird hangs from wires.  Size is approximately 14" x 14" x 7".

THE ALLERGY GOD aka MASK

Welded steel and found object representation of mystical figure, or mask.  Hangs on wall.  Signed.  Exhibited in 2017 at the Katzen Arts Center (American University Museuem) in Washington D.C. as part of their retrospective honoring the now closed Jefferson Place Gallery where Max K was exhibited in the early 1960's. Approximately 12" x 6" x 3".  Owned by John James Anderson.

JONAH IN THE WHALE aka JONAH AND THE WHALE

Welded steel and found objects depicting a large whale with a small fetus-like Jonah inside.  Accepted and exhibited in the 2014 Adams County Arts Council juried art exhibition at the Schmucker Art Gallery, Gettsburg Pa. Exhibited posthumously in 2017 at the Katzen Arts Center, American University Museum, in their retro show honoring the now defunct Jefferson Place Gallery which exhibited Max's work in the early 1960's. This sculpture is now in the permanent collection of American University Musuem.  Approximately 4' x 3' x 2'.

THE ANGRY GOOSE

Welded steel goose mounted next to pool. One of two of Max K's sculptures bought by Fiona Fields in the 1960's.  The second sculpture was a owl, possibly the Horned Owl or welded steel Owl shown earlier in Archives.
